ABANDONED DOG SURVIVES DISEASE AND FINDS A HAPPY HOME

Despite being abandoned, ill, and malnourished at the beginning of his existence, the dog somehow survived. On Puerto Rico’s Dead Dog Beach, Murray the Weimaraner and his three siblings were discovered as puppies. This area is nicknamed as “Dead Dog Beach” because stray animals frequently discharge their waste there.

Murray and his siblings began to exhibit symptoms of distemper shortly after being rescued by the Sato Project. Distemper is a virus that affects the respiratory and nervous systems of dogs and is usually fatal. When the vet noticed Murray waving his tail, they decided against euthanizing him and did what they could to save him.
